Primary School UN Food Festival was a smashing success! Thank you to all parents who shared their national foods and culture, and put in so much thought into the beautifully decorated booths. We're proud to have events like this which allow our community to experience the international diversity of UWCSEA

“In my experience a love potion is just an excuse for wild abandonment with one you already love.” Tickets ($10) for the High School production of Tristan and Yseult are still available at the College Shop! Don't miss out on this brilliantly offbeat retelling of the ancient Cornish legend of passion and fatal adultery in a version by Emma Rice for Kneehigh Theatre Company. Break a leg to all involved in the production!

Last night’s Dinner with Scholars brought together UWCSEA East families and UWC NC Scholars for an evening of sharing stories over delicious home cooked food. Five scholars spoke passionately to the crowd about the difference a UWCSEA education is making and their personal journeys that brought them to the College. As one scholar so adaptly remarked at the end of the evening, “Meeting strangers helps us all to learn more about ourselves.” A big thanks to the Parent Ambassadors who organised the event. We welcome guests from Grade 4 GC Bali Bridges who are on campus all week, participating in classroom activities and getting to know our students! The GC works in partnership with Widhya Asih, an organisation that supports children in Bali who are orphaned or living in severe poverty to complete their education. They also provide community development programmes for single-parent families and families of students returning home from institutional care.

Grade 4 and 5 students dressed up and boogied down for the Tabitha GC Halloween Disco. With exciting competitions for the best dancers and musical statues contests, our Junior School students had a great time for a greater cause: supporting Tabitha GC, a sustainable non-profit organisation that works to make a phenomenal difference to the lives of the poorest families in Cambodia. Thank you to all involved.
